The Organizers of the CK Getaway Event, held the weekend of Victoria Day 2000, Chloe 'n Kris. I couldn't have done it without you, 'Mon Ange'!

The CK Getaway Crew included (from bottom left, clockwise): Anya, Adam, Edward, Eric, Chloe 'n Kris, Laura, Tony, and Olivia. Thanks to Anya's boyfriend, Bobby, for taking the photo!

Adam was, ironically, the Grand Prize Winner of CHUM 1050's give away that day, winning a birthday dinner for 10 at the Rainforest Cafe (his b-day was in 2 weeks).

A huge thank you to Adam, Chloe, Olivia, and their parents for housing a whole crew of us for part of the (or in some cases, the entire :o) long weekend.

The brothers Edward and Tony, and former roommate Eric, who happens to be in the larger image of this photograph...

Tony and Eric, messing around ... don't they look cute? Get your hand out of Tony's hair, Eric!

Chloe, standing between Tony, at left, and Eric, just before our Munchies intermission!

Tony, acting as tourist guide, pointing out for Eric one of The Centre of the Universe's many "central" sites.

Kris, Chloe, Tony, and Eric on the Tunnel leading up to the fifth level at Skydome. It was quite a trek, let us tell you! (photograph of a larger view of the tunnel)

The Getaway Crew getting ready to do "The Wave". What are you all looking at? You're supposed to be watching the game!

Laura, Eric, and Tony, with Kris jutting his head into the picture, and Edward left out of the thumbnail. Some of us appear a bit too excited!

Bobby, Anya, and Laura. The latter two are Flute Performance Majors attending Queen's University, while Bobby is in the Canadian Army.

While entertaining ourselves at Playdium, Kris finally convinced Olivia to try out the Dance Machine with him. Kris lucked out because his didn't function. Meanwhile, Adam sure can't take his eyes off that thing!

Here's Chloe giving the Dance Machine a try. Although in no way am I objective, she sure had some nice leg work going! :o) ... of course, Adam is still transfixed (see full image).

Eventually Adam decided to give the Dance Machine a-whirl. Hey, wait a second, that's not Adam, it's me! FYI, I was the only one to proceed to Round Two, although you would never have guessed that given my dance moves.

Our Saturday evening dining establishment, Planet Hollywood. Sorry that the Paul Gross picture didn't turn out, guys! FYI, our waitress wouldn't leave poor Edward alone.

All decked out for the game, Kris stands with navy blue vest, Blue Jay flag, and of course his CK Chloe 'n Kris authentic t-shirt.

Sitting on the sidelines in the 100 Level sideline section is Kris, Olivia, Eric, and Tony (outside of thumbnail). Remember to share, Olivia!

The T.O. Twins, Tony and Chloe, getting a little action between innings (For more "action", check this out).

Eric laughing hilariously, with Laura smiling shyly to the side (not in thumbnail). Wonder what they were up to???

Adam carrying the flag of triumph and of victory (okay, already, I'll admit it, the Jays lost 6-2 to the White Sox...).

Anya and Laura, laughing at yet another joke that day ... or at the cameraman! The rest of us are standing around wondering what we're going to do next.

Brother-sister combo Olivia and Adam. It was them who convinced us all that Munchies were in order sometime during a lull in the third inning.

Tony with his look-alike little brother Edward. If I didn't get to know Edward that day, I'd be scared, especially after already spending a term living with Tony!

If it's not hanging from the chin-up bar at SPUC, he's doing other acrobatic moves in front of Skydome. We finally discovered his former "hanging grounds" that day!

I wish the lighting could've been better, but I captured all the Art I could possibly have wanted! : ) ... thanks, Chloe, despite your hesitation.

CK, far away and close together ... this is just before we went to find Tony, who had taken his sister to work.

Okay, I'm a tourist and I couldn't help myself, but those statues were acting just like the rest of us were during the game!

Chloe 'n Kris, in the midst of the throng of concert-goers at Mix 99.9's Beachfest 2000. Thanks to Adam for the photographs from Beachfest!

My favourite band, Great Big Sea. Encouraging participation in both action and song, they were a smashing success.

Amanda Marshall uplifted the crowd's hearts. Her style was enthralling, her voice enticing, her energy mesmerizing.

Great Big Sea, taken just before the lead singer -- yes, it's true -- waved to me ... which was very hype!

Taken from right field, 100 Level, where TECKO sat for several innings.

The Chicago White Sox during pre-game batting practice.

Getting ready for the first pitch, being delivered by Toronto's David Wells.

The Jumbotron, which later that afternoon featured Adam's name.

Thank You!
"A big thank you to Laura for your hair-raising driving, Eric for eternally waiting, Chloe, Olivia, and Adam for your spacious accommodations, Edward for your patience with ill-clad waitresses, Anya and Bob for your company and enthusiasm, and Tony for your wit and unending humour."
